Weather Station Data Logger works with Oregon Scientific WMR88, WMR100, WMR200 and RMS300 weather stations. By using a USB collection, the application logs and displays weather data collected from said weather stations. You thus have a central location to check out the temperature, the barometric pressure, the wind speed, and more.

The installation file is 3.4MB in size, meaning that on a high-speed internet connection you will not have long to wait for the download to complete. Run this file and you will be presented with a setup wizard that will have you choose between a Complete and a Custom Installation. Go with the Custom option and you will get to choose which components you want to install: program and help files, Start menu items, a desktop shortcut, a WeatherJack calibrator, and a custom client example.

The main part of the application’s interface is made up of a big graph created using weather data. Around it there are sections for displaying the temperature, the barometric pressure, a station clock, and more. The simple truth of the matter is that it will not take you long to figure out the application’s interface and its functionality.

As mentioned above, Weather Station Data Logger presents info collected from Oregon Scientific weather stations. To get a better idea of what sort of functionality you can expect to get from this application, here’s a quick look at its main features: wind speed and direction, temperature logs and graphs, daily extremes, barometric pressure info, rainfall rate, total rain since the last reset, UV reading, log data as CSV files, upload data to Weather Underground and CWOP, generate and upload webpages to web servers via FTP.

Weather Station Data Logger is released under GNU Lesser General Public License.
Please note that the application is no longer under current development.
